Cúberreservoaren - Vid foten av Puig Major
Denna lite kortare och enklare vandring går runt den konstgjorda Cubersjön som är en av Mallorcas två vattenreservoarer.
Mallorcas högsta bergstopp, Puig Major, är hela tiden synlig längs vandringen. Tillsammans med övriga toppar ger den en magnifik inramning av sjön.
Reservoaren är oftast som fullast i juni med träd och gulblommande buskar i vattenkanten. Här betar kor, får, getter och åsnor.
Landskapet har en karg skönhet som påminner om Provence eller Fårö. Färgskalan är grågrön. Längs leden blommar rosmarin, salvia och ljung.
Parkering finns vid kilometermärke 34 på Ma-10 mot Lluc.
The Cúber reservoir - At the foot of Puig Major
This slightly shorter and easier walk leads around the Cuber reservoir , which is one of Mallorcas two water reserves.
Mallorca's highest mountain peak, Puig Major, is always visible along the walk. Together with the other peaks in the area it provides a magnificent frame to the lake.
The reservoir is usually full in June with trees and yellow flowering shrubs on the water's edge and cows, sheep, goats and donkeys grazing.
The landscape has a beauty resembling Provence. The color scale is grayish green. Along the trail blossoms rosemary, salvia and heather.
Parking is available at mileage 34 on Ma-10 towards Lluc.
